The Proper Teeth Whitening Process

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

Imagine if you are in a glamorous party attended by many gorgeous people, the gentlemen wear suit and tie, and the ladies wear beautiful gown or dress. Suddenly a man who looks like Robert Pattinson is walking elegantly toward you while holding two glasses of luminous champagne. What will you do? Will you just walk away? Or try to not miss the chance by giving him the nicest smile you have? Not till a second, suddenly you remember that the last time you visited your dentist for doing the teeth whitening/bleaching was ages ago; do you still want to take a chance to smile? Surely, it will be so much fair to just walk away and keep your lips sealed.

Indeed, no one wants to experience such an embarrassing situation like that only because of a small thing. What can be learned from that situation is that doing the regular teeth bleaching will certainly help you to support your appearance; and boost your confidence to socialize in an instant. The teeth bleaching can also refer to teeth whitening, it can be done by going to a dentist to have a medical procedure, or giving a try to natural whitening procedure. If you choose the first procedure, there is a side effect which cannot be avoided. It can cause irritation to gums which triggers bleeding, sensitive teeth, stomachaches, and even bleachorexia.

The last effect mentioned almost sounds like ‘a friend’ of anorexia, in fact both terms actually have similarity; both deal with addictions. Anorexia creates an addiction to have a super slim body by throwing up every swallowed food after eating, but bleachorexia creates an addiction to regularly bleaching teeth which can break the teeth. Not only creates an addiction, the person who already suffered from bleachorexia will feel so much uncomfortable feeling to eat anything (especially solid foods) because of the pain felt, as a result their weights drop; which for some cases, this phase can lead to anorexia.

Sound so creepy, right? However, that doesn’t mean you are not allowed to do the teeth whitening at all. There is still second procedure to try, the natural one. In this procedure, there is no need to arrange a meeting with a dentist, spend a lot of money to buy medical products, and moreover, the good news is you can do it by yourself anywhere and anytime. The natural teeth whitening procedure is also suggested by a famous Dr. Oz, a man with a black hair who occasionally appears in Oprah show, he recommended some natural fruits which help to dazzle your teeth.

The first fruit is strawberry --everybody likes it and it easy to find-- the red fresh fruit is a natural bleaching agent since it contains both an astringent and vitamin C. The astringent in strawberries successfully helps in the deletion of surface stains and vitamin C whitens teeth by cleaning away disturbing plaque. You can also choose an apple, this fresh green fruits apparently help you to get rid of excess foodstuff and bacteria, at the same time it polishes away surface stains on teeth. The third is raisin which keeps your white teeth, it stimulates saliva production inside mouth; a better intensity of saliva obviously helps out to clean away plaque.

  1. Being able to whiten your teeth properly really is important. There was a time where I whitened my teeth and it actually made my teeth really sensitive. In the end though there are ways to reverse the damage. I really like being able to be comfortable with my smile knowing that my teeth are white. 2. This really is an incredible insight when it comes to whitening teeth. Something that really stands out is the fact that there are some conditions that are bad for your teeth. I personally think that having an addiction to bleaching is something that definitely can be something that is very serious. Your comment about having a whitening addiction which causes painful eating really was incredible to hear. Thank you for sharing. http://www.freshwavedental.com/services
